We're back: 14th Nov 2020 Re-Installation Meeting

After the last meeting (Raising Ceremony) in March this year, the Wor Master called to reconvene the lodge in a face to face Re-Installation meeting this 14th of November under UGL NSW & ACT three-stage Covid safe protocols.

The lodge and its members were continually in touch via various social media and ZOOM meetings, both management and 'regular business meetings' under a Grand Lodge business meeting protocols. Whilst most lodge business can be actioned via virtual meetings and emails, there is certain lodge work that obviously can not be done virtually; at least not yet.

The last couple of weeks saw the management committee inspect the Castle Hill Masonic Centre to familiarize themselves with the new Covid safe protocols and maximum capacities posted in and around the various spaces in the centre.

Due to the maximum capacity in the lodge, lodge members, and a small number of visitors, less the ladies are booked and invited to the Re-Installation meeting. Dry runs will also be part of the rehearsals in the next few days.

Hopefully, we will see all in the new year when the effects of the pandemic die down. In the meantime, the lodge is not taking any chances nor is complacent.

Elysian Lodge is back!

The Elysian Lodge No 418 is back after the last meeting in March, which is the Installation of the current  Worshipful Master, Wor Bro G Capistrano.

The Wor Master did not relax nor stayed unoccupied as he performed in an excellent manner a Rasing of a Bro JB last 3rd October at Blacktown Masonic Centre.

As one senior Brother said: "memorable for everyone who participated. First time back after a seven-month hiatus. We have to remember that it was the first time for all officers to perform in their roles as the last time we met was our installation meeting. Congratulations to all officers and congratulations to Bro Joe."

It was indeed a memorable and a Covid19 safe night for all!
